Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Maria has lived in the Destin and Fort Walton area since 1979.  She has seen all the changes and growth along our beautiful Emerald Coast!  

Maria has been affiliated with the vacation rental business since 1991. Hired as a reservation agent with Abbott Resorts, she moved to front desk opeations at Sundestin Beach Resort where she became familiar with both condominium properties and the operation of vacation rentals. After obtaining a degree in marketing in 1998 from the University of West Florida, Maria joined the real estate sales team.  

She is very knowledgeable about the area’s real estate market and walks her customers through the entire process to make their buying or selling experience as easy as possible. She is honest, loyal and patient, doing what it takes to complete the job.  Within her 25 years in real estate, she has been an assistant, partner in a real estate team, sales manager and now Broker of her own brokerage.  

Maria is also very involved with our local real estate association as well as the state association.  She has served on the Professional Development Committee and served as Chair in 2014, Community and Military Outreach Committee and served as Chair in 2016 and Grievance Committee and served as the Chair in 2019/2020.  She served as Vice Chair for the Leadership Development Program in 2019 and served as Chair in 2020. She is Vice President of the association‘s board of directors this year. With the Florida Realtor’s association, she has served on the Professional Development Committee, Curriculum Subcommittee, Forms Content Committee and the Legislative Think Tank with Resort and Second Home Specialists break out group.  She is also a Certified Instructor non-CE for Forms Simplicity.

Maria enjoys all beach and water activities on the Gulf and traveling to Thailand every 2/3 years to visit family as well as other destinations.  She has lived in the Bluewater Bay area of Niceville since 2003 with her son, Tyler and their cat, Coco.
